plus support

In honour of Tony Kofi's family heritage The Collective will be serving a traditional

Ghanaian Menu:

BANKU; Fermented and cooked corn made into balls (if you have tried Kenya’s “ugali” it's similar to that!) served with a choice of Goat, Mutton or Red-Red Plantain Curry. £8

OR

JOLLOF RICE; A basmati style rice cooked in onion, African nutmeg,

ginger, peppers, chilli and tomatoes. (Our trained Chef adds peas and

thyme to this unique regional dish) served with a choice of Ghana Mutton Curry, Chicken Peanut Curry or Red-Red Plantain Curry. £9

(This menu has been updated & the goat curry has been replaced by a Chicken Peanut Curry. Met the goat & we changed our mind. Are you kidding us?! We couldnt! He was too cute & he kept wiggling his ears!)
Dessert:
West African Baked Banana & coconut cream
Many traditional West African desserts include plantain or banana. Our tasty dish of banana is infused with lime juice, brown sugar cane and cinnamon served on a fresh green palm leaf. A garnish of caramalised nuts is optional  £3

*Please note that we stop serving food when the live music starts from 8pm.

TONY KOFI
: After touring his FUTURE PASSED trio extensively during 2006/2007 Tony decided to give his trio a break and concentrate on other projects with his own quartet and acoustic trio. He has recently been touring with Abdullah Ibrahim and The World Saxophone Quartet whilst setting up the new all star leaders group LINEAGE.
